North Shore Art Guild meets the 1st monday of the month
at 7:30PM. Meetings are held at the miller place high School, Memorial Drive, in Miller
Place, NY. We have member work critiques, demonstrations and art show news. NSAG also
sponsers an annual member show and an open juried show. For further information call

Pathways Women's Health is pleased to offer on-going art exhibits at its center. In addition to
helping to create a soothing atmosphere for those waiting diagnostic testing and those attending our WELLNESS PROGRAM,,

Special Opportunity Stipends Available
Special Opportunity Stipends (SOS) for visual, literary, media, and performing artists are available,
with February and May deadlines. Artists may request support ranging from $50 to $500 for specific, forthcoming
opportunities.
SOS is a project developed by the New York Foundation for the Arts to assist individual artists in their work
or career development. It is made possible with public funds from the NYSCA, as well as contributions from private
foundations and friends of NYFA.
SOS is administered on Long Island in Nassau and Suffolk Counties bt the East End Arts Council under a consortium
agreement with the Babylon Citizens Council on the Arts, the Huntington Arts Council, the Islip Arts Council,
the Smithtown Township Arts Council, the Council for the Arts on the North Shore, the Long Beach Arts Council,
and the Long Island Council for the Arts at Freeport.
Applications are available from these arts councils, and can also be obtained from the internet at www.nyfa.org Please
